During graduation season, many students are sharing photos of their big moments. But one father-daughter duo’s photos are getting a lot of attention again, thanks to an old throwback picture!
Tori Roach, 19, posted a special picture on Twitter from her high school graduation in May 2018, where she graduated from Huntsville High School in Texas. She also shared a throwback photo of herself as a baby in her dad’s arms during his own graduation from the same school.
Next to that, she shared a more recent photo of her on her dad’s arm again, with him kissing her cheek. She wrote, “18 years later,” with some emoji.
In another tweet, she joked, “For everyone asking, yes this is my dad, he’s 37, and no he isn’t single. I have another sibling on the way.”
The tweet went viral last year, getting thousands of retweets. Tori was surprised by all the attention, saying she never expected it to blow up. She even called her family to share the news.
Recently, the post went viral again, getting thousands of new retweets as more people shared graduation photos. Tori said her dad was really proud, and they both thought it was cool to see so many people reacting.
Tori, who lives with her dad Dennis, stepmom Jamie, and baby brother Silas in Huntsville, said her family found the old photo while looking for baby pictures to display at her graduation party.
