Leaning on their faith, the family gathered to say goodbye. A touching video shows Peter and Jackie Halpin, their six children, and other relatives singing a hymn amidst the rubble. “We gave our pain to Christ and His mother,” said Andrew Halpin. They prayed and sang together, finding comfort in their beliefs.

Marie Clare Metcalfe, Andrew’s sister, shared that faith has always been the family’s foundation and will guide them through this tragedy. She explained that the house was a central gathering place for their large family, which includes 14 grandchildren, with one more on the way.
Their sister, Gianna, and her 2-year-old daughter were living in a backhouse on the property and lost everything in the fire.
The video has touched many hearts, gaining over 20,000 likes on Instagram. Even actress Candace Cameron Bure commented, “Bless you. Praise the Lord.”
To help their parents recover, the Halpin children created a GoFundMe page. It has raised over $73,000, exceeding their initial goal of $60,000.
