An Oval Office meeting between United States President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy has devolved into a shouting match, as Trump threatens: “You’re either going to make a deal or we’re out.”
Zelenskyy has left the White House early as Trump posted on Truth Social that the Ukrainian president “can come back when he is ready for Peace”.
But Friday’s fierce interaction with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine will add another foreign policy hurdle for Trump to face.
Trump left on Friday afternoon for his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, marking the fourth such trip since his second term began, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Ukrainian army chief expresses support for Zelenskyy
In a rare statement about political matters, Ukraine’s army chief Oleksandr Syrskii says that his country’s armed forces stand with Zelenskyy.
“The Armed Forces are with Ukraine, with the people, with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Our strength is in unity,” Syrskii said in a social media post.
